This is one of the most characterful animal paintings I've seen in a long while. Bernard looks like a very lovable, friendly cat.

I took a photo of my neighbours cat and in trying to paint it all I can say is hats off to cat painters. It was an experience testing my skill limit and patience. I used a lot of spare paper trying various mixes and methods of doing fur.
